They seem too cheap to be a nice sports cars. I mean any person with a half way decent job can afford one but they aren't that common. Is it because they are crappy cars?
Is a Lotus a nice?
Yes they are nice but not practical for everyday driving. You are probably talking about the Elise/Exige. Yes they are affordable and the engine is a tuned Toyota MR2 4 cylinder. However, It weighs a little over 1,000 lbs and is one of the best handling cars out there. They are very small though. I can be on my knees and still see clear over the top of one. Also to be so light the inside is bare and small so if there are two people in the car you will be rubbing elbows the whole trip. So yes, they are nice and sweet cars but I'd only drive one for a weekend fun car not something to go to work in everyday.
Reply:No they are awesome cars. They are very light weight, and use a toyota sourced engine. They are very race inspired cars, hard to use for commuting. Very much a racing car, very unforgiving after you exceed the handling limit. But they are highly regarded in the motoring world outside the US. It was rated highly in EVO magazine.
Reply:The Elise is kick azz. Super lightweight and quick. I think the Exige is stripped down. Not crappy cars, but not luxury sports cars.
Reply:it varies from man to man...
Reply:They are a very nice cars and any man with a decent job without kids or a family might be able to afford one. They are an imported car and are well built.
Reply:I think you still wear diapers.
Reply:its not for the american working man and typically if you have a decent job i gueess you could afford it, if you had no other bills.
Reply:OR because they are imported and not very common in the US. The more expensive ones are NICE. You're looking at the cheap ones.
Reply:They look hot, but only have get up and go with a big turbo. Replacement parts are very pricy.
Reply:maybe
