Where do the Lotus plants come from?
Go to the nearest lake having lotus plants.The roots of these plants are present in the soils of the lake.It has rhizomatous stem just like ginger.It has long petioles so that the leaves reach the suface of the lake.It later produces arillated seeds.this aril helps in the seed dispersal.From these seeds the plants arise on germination.
