When does lotus flowers bloom??i heard it blooms(best and not only) at night.?

Lotus is too general a term to give a pinpoint answer .



If by 'Lotus' you mean ' Brahmakamal' , then the answer is yes , it only flowers during night time and that too for a short period and then it begins to deteriorate . The plant does not grow in water . It is a terrestrial or land plant .

If by 'Lotus' you mean the true lotus or the one that grows in water and ponds , then it does not bloom at night . In fact it bloos by day and closes the flower at night .
