I am trying to delete a repeating calendar reminder on Lotus Notes but have not been able to... How can i delete or disble the entries?

You have probably deleted the individual recurring instances and are now left with the main entry that you are unable to delete. Trying to delete it will give a message such as "This document cannot be modified. It contains the original information for a repeating meeting from when the meeting was first created. If you wish to apply changes, select a specific occurrence of the meeting."



IBM does not have a solution that works, but I have used the following process with success. Go to the Meetings view of your calendar and find the entry that will not delete. If you Expand the entry, it will likely not have any of the repeating instance entries below it. If this is the case, create a mock repeating appointment and save it. Find it in the Meetings view and Expand it. Select only the repeating occurrences and Copy, then select the entry that will not delete, and Paste. You should now have the recurring instances from the fake entry appearing as a subentry of the entry you are unable to delete. Select the repeating instances and hit Delete. Notes will tell you that you need to select a specific instance and should give you a list with the dates of the bogus appointment. Select any one date and Notes will ask you if you want to delete Just the one instance, All instances, This and all prior instances, or This and all future instances. Select All Instances and the troublesome calendar entry should now be gone. Let me know if this works for you.
