In lotus notes sometime it pickup the server name instead of username why for sanctioned a form?

i have sanctioned authority to my boss/ but sometime it pick up the server name in that field / means it show this form is sanctioned by server/

What you are describing sounds like the difference when code is running locally on the client computer or remotely on the server. On the client computer the user is the user, on the server the user is the server.

Maybe the application is being used sometimes in the notes client and sometimes via a web browser. Or maybe sometimes on the local replica of the database and sometimes on the server replica of the database.



You probably need to get a programmer (not sure if this is you) to do some investigation - get them to also look for Queryopen and Querysave code.
