How to stop mosquito breeding in a lotus pond ?

I use a teracota pot filled with water and mud to grow lotus plants. But mosquitos keep breeding in the water. I live in Sri Lanka and it's hard to find any biological agents that stop mosquiti breeding. Does anyone know any way I can stop this ?

I also have a pond and have never had trouble with mosquito

larvae because our pond is full of fish. Fish love larvae and

it also is a very environmentally friendly way of getting rid of

them and feeding the fish at the same time.

Mosquito fish are small and will fit in the pot (they are very hardy)

Goldfish also like eating mosquito larvae but your pot would

have to be quite large to house them.
Reply:a drop of liquid soap a day should help
Reply:Be natural. Put some little fish in there. Theyll eat the little blighters for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
