i pay 80 dollars for oil change and i know that for a lotus is around $300. and a week ago i paied $250 for brakes for my c230 kompressor. would i be spending alot more in maintenance for the lotus elise or is it about the same ?
I have a mercedes right now and plan to get a lotus elise my question is. is maintenance alot more expensive?
If you have to ask this is definately not the car for you.
Unless you spend your weekends at Lime Rock Park, Elkhart Lake, Laguna Seca, etc, the Elise is not the car for you.
The Elise is a very low volume boutique car from the country whose automobiles have a reputation for the worst quality control known to man and a nearly non-existant dealer network.
Perhaps a nice Toyota?
