I have had lotus root which was very good.
Did you ever eat a lotus?
NO,never to this year.
Reply:Yes and I fried my my butt off, O the colors, the shapes, the sounds. Lotus is good especially with a side of lace root.
Reply:Lotus root is good in veggie sushi, but I have a feeling that's not what you mean.
Reply:No, never. It never occured to me it could be edible.

Reply:I've had fresh lotus root but I've only had nasty canned flowers.
Reply:Yes, I love it. I use it a Japanese soup called Oden. Sorta hard to cut, huh?
