I have an 'ELNA - Lotus SP' sewing machine and need an instruction book.?

This model is about 30 years old and now discontinued and although I may be able to buy spare parts I cannot get any instruction book from the stockists. I would appreciate information of any sort for this request.

I own an old Elna machine too. I don't have the book you need but I might know where you can get some information on it. I was browsing Yahoo groups some time ago and came across a group strictly for Vintage Elna owners. I am not sure if it is still operating as I have not had an occaision to look for it lately. You could try searching the groups under sewing topics. The people who originaly started the group are sewing machine repairmen who find the old Elna's to be very collectible. I have seen people asking them for replacement books, parts, etc. Good luck. I love my old Elna. I got it when my daughter was 2 and she is now 39.

Reply:I have an Elna S U and do have the instruction books for that. I imagine that the books are preetty much the same and I would be happy to photo copy any thing that you you think may be of help
Reply:Good machine! My MIL has one that was all over the world with her, in her purse. It's one of those things that I hope gets passed down in the family %26lt;g%26gt;

Note that there were several models of the Lotus design over the years, so be sure you get the one for SP.

If you google "elna lotus sp manual" you'll find a number of online sellers -- here's one I know nothing about:
