How do I get my Lotus Notes inbox to auto-refresh, like in Outlook where “You have new mail" messages appear?

Anything to automate this without having to hit F9 to refresh all the time?

Thank you.

Sure you can configure it.

Just simply select File/Preferences/User Preferences to open User Preferences dialog. Then, select Mail subject, then you'll see on the right side, Email Configuration: to make your Notes client auto receive email, just fill in the time (in minutes) at Receiving section, and OK. That's all.

Hope this can help you.

Cheers,

Lam.
Reply:FILE, PREFERENCES, MAIL.......

It's "Check for new mail every____ minutes"

fill in the blank
Reply:Setting it up to notify you that you have mail is how it's basically refreshed. You can set the time for however often you wish. It's in the user preferences. I don't have Lotus Notes at home or I'd take you through it step by step, but it's pretty simple. If I were sitting at that computer I probably wouldn't have to think about it.
