How can I transfer Lotus 123 workbooks to Excel?

Lotus 123 has the export option. Once you open the report, or Lotus View (don't forget to expand all data) you select the export option.

then select export type "lotus 123" to continue.

Select the file extension to be wk4 (for some reason, it you select this extension - it will eliminate funny characters).

on The file that was saved - you can change the extension to be XLS, and when you save it again, make sure to save as type of excel...

Excel did support older versions of Lotus 1-2-3. Try to open the file in excel.

Start Excel,

Click on file%26gt;%26gt;open

In File Type, choose "All Files"

Browse to your Lotus workbook and select it. It may work.
