Which is the best Lotus car?

Including looks and drive quality.

Which is the best Lotus car?
I still think that the Lotus Elise is the Elite of the Lotus cars, and most small sports cars.
Reply:The Exige in midnight blue with cream leather interior...FAB.....peace@love=0)
Reply:I love the Lotus 2-Eleven.
Reply:I say the LATER model Espirit's (with the V8 engine)....it's got the BEST look of ALL the Lotus' in my opinion.

However, the OLDER Espirit's (with the Turbo 4 cylinder) were built with really BAD Renault designed Manual Transmissions, which Car %26amp; Driver said were so fragile, that they seemed to be made out of glass...I remember reading that review and saying WTF??
Reply:i liked the lotus esprit V8, it gave the Ferrari f355 honest and was a lot cheaper, but the gearbox was a load of ****, out of a Renault 25!
Reply:exige 240s is the fastest... who cares about looks.... speed is all u need
Reply:lotus super seven ...
Reply:The Exige in black or graphite-grey looks STUNNING and is an absolute delight to drive. It would be my choice.
Reply:I think the Lotus Elise, is a great looking car, so much nicer than it's sister car, the Vauxhall VX220.

But everything depends on what you want from it.

The Esprit Turbo, as used by James Bond, was also a great car, some of the vintage Lotus's certainly have their place in the History books too.

But remember, no matter how nice the car, a quick reminder, Lotus is an abbreviation of Loads of Trouble, Usually Serious.
Reply:Looks and Drive quality-Lotus Europa S

Looks and performance-Lotus Exige S.
Reply:2000+ esprit, the elise and exige are both uncomforatble and drive position is not adjustable.. you can't move the seats....
Reply:of course it is hard to choose id choose the elise s its brilliant to drive and its looks are just amazing and its fast to drive if you want to
Reply:Lotus Exige in flame orange or bogie green
Reply:Has to be Collin Chapman's original car the Seven, the model line is still being built today as the Caterham 7.
