What car had the lotus suspension but wasn't a lotus?
The 1965 Ford/Lotus Cortina had Lotus suspension, but it was advertised as having been created by both Ford and Lotus.

Lotus designer Roger Becker did a lot of work on the Toyota MR2, but as the production spec. was finalized by Toyota so it could not be considered having Lotus suspension.

Several Isuzu models utilized Lotus suspension on the front end.
Reply:I think it was the Isuzu Impreza back in the early 90's
Reply:How about that 1988 Pontiac Fiero.
Reply:vx 220
Reply:My wife has 1991 Isuzu stylus with Lotus suspension badges on the door. Isuzu also used it in the early 90's I-Mark. Handling is very crisp on the Stylus. The car has 1.6 dohc and better power to weight ratio than an Integra with a V-TEC.
Reply:Proton gen-2,make in Malaysia,design by LOTUS
Reply:I'd like to know. Nothing quite like a ride in a Lotus. The laws of physics do not apply to those cars.
Reply:I think it was an English Ford.
Reply:I have no ideal but I wish my 1999 Ford Contour Sport sure had that suspension!
